Despite incessant rainfall in Katra, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra is continuing smoothly after resuming this morning following a six-day suspension.
Thousands of pilgrims have started making their way towards the holy cave shrine, with the Shrine Board and security agencies ensuring the safe movement of devotees despite the challenging weather conditions.

Authorities have advised pilgrims to remain cautious, follow official advisories, and avoid venturing into vulnerable areas along the route.
Emergency response teams, medical staff, and disaster management personnel remain deployed across the track to assist devotees if required. The Yatra was resumed after a comprehensive assessment of weather conditions and the safety of the track.
