Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday and briefed him on the overall situation in the Union Territory.
During the meeting, Sinha apprised the Prime Minister about the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the successful and safe conduct of the ongoing Shri Amarnath Yatra.
The meeting comes amid continued focus on maintaining peace and security in J&K, along with development and public welfare initiatives across the Union Territory.
