As part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has announced a series of new customer-centric initiatives to strengthen digital connectivity and improve customer services across the country. BSNL has ordered more than 26,300 additional 4G Base Transceiver Station sites for deployment across the country. The expansion will further improve 4G connectivity in towns, villages and remote areas.


Under the Re. 1 Freedom 2.0 Offer, new customers can access 1 GB data per day, 100 SMS per day and unlimited voice calls for 24 days at Re. 1. BSNL has also introduced the Fibre Freedom Plan at a special launch price of Rs.1,111 per month, offering speeds of up to 200 Mbps, 5,000 GB monthly data and access to more than 25 premium OTT platforms.

The revamped BSNL Selfcare New mobile app will provide services including recharge, bill payment, complaint registration and tracking, Fibre booking, AI chatbot support and multiple account management through a single platform. BSNL mobile subscribers can also access around 500 live TV channels through BSNL Free Entertainment TV, powered by Tango TV, through the Selfcare App.


Under another special offer, the Rs.2,399 annual prepaid plan will get 47 additional days of validity, taking the total validity to 412 days. BSNL has also partnered with Polycab to promote indigenous manufacturing of telecom and networking equipment under the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
